Abstract

The increasing linguistic diversity in higher education has created a growing need for inclusive
technological interventions that support English language acquisition among multilingual learners. This study
examines the effectiveness of an English Writing Skill Training Device in enhancing writing proficiency,
learner confidence, and academic participation among students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. The
research focuses on undergraduate engineering students studying in multilingual classrooms where English
functions as a second or third language. Using a mixed-method approach, the study evaluates the role of the
device in improving grammar, vocabulary usage, coherence, and academic writing practices through
interactive and technology-assisted learning modules. Data are collected through pre-test and post-test
assessments, learner feedback, classroom observations, and writing performance analysis. The findings
indicate that digital writing support tools significantly contribute to reducing linguistic barriers and promoting
equitable learning opportunities. The study further highlights how technology-driven language instruction can
foster digital inclusion and support culturally diverse learners in higher education environments. The research
contributes to diversity-oriented educational practices by emphasizing inclusive English language pedagogy
and learner-centered technological innovation in multilingual academic contexts.
